Any thoughts, comments, suggestions, concerns or notes about today?
You know what I enjoy? A day that relates to something in the real world. I like to think of October 4th (10/4) as Good Buddy Day because of the famous 10-4 radio code. Or how about March 14th (3/14) as Pi Day. I’m sure you can think of many others. I’ve never thought about it, but there are bound to be more when you put the day before the month as is the custom in most places other than the United States. Day, month, year goes in order from shortest to longest time period; month, day, year is totally cattywampus. Which makes more sense? Perhaps my favorite day of all time was December 16, 2020 (12/16/20): a date which will live in lid-famy! Think about that one over a hot drink. Click on the link if you can’t suss it out. This one’s less of a thinker:
“Hey, you got any notes about today, October 10th?”
“Ahh, no, I don’t think so. What does that even mean, ‘Any notes’?”
“So, if I’m hearing you right, what you’re saying is: ’10/10. No notes!'”
“Your humor’s 0/10. How’s that for a note?”
