What current logo do you think will baffle people in 10 years?
Post your answer in the LEAVE A COMMENT section below. I’m not the boss of you, though. Don’t write anything for all I care! It’s baffling to me why you wouldn’t, though.
. . .here are my thoughts.
What current logo do you think will baffle people in 10 years?
I ordered a couple MLS mystery kits from AwayDaysFootball.com. One mystery revealed itself as the Minnesota United FC jersey pictured above. The same Minnesota team that recently beat my beloved Everton 4-0 in a friendly match. The very team whose stadium hosts a number of USMNT home matches. The very Allianz Field that hosted the recent MLS All-Star game against the Mexican League All-Stars. Since Target is a Minneapolis-based company, their logo was on both All-Star team’s jerseys. During the national anthems of that match—22 players lined up, each with a bullseye on their chest—I began questioning Target’s choice of logo. It looked like target practice was imminent. Stationary targets too easy for your supreme marksmanship? Wait until players begin running around. What would happen if some lunatic actually fired shots? Would Target be targeted with wrongful death lawsuits since they placed a literal target on athlete’s chests? I’d venture there’s no shortage of lawyers who’d litigate that potential payday. Target’s lawyers should preemptively recommend a logo change … and soon. Forget about a decade from now, I’m baffled that people sport the Target logo today!
In 10 years all logos will probably be banned. One group or another finds a reason for finding something wrong with everything.
