. . .here are my thoughts.

What website will you probably never visit?

Ever see those commercials for FarmersOnly.com?  The site’s sing-song motto is:

“You don’t have to be lonely, at FarmersOnly.com.

Years ago, I thought up a similar motto to what—for all knew—was a non-existent domain:

You don’t have to be Amish, at Rumspringa.com.

Recently, I decided to see if the Rumspringa.com domain was active.  Since it’s a simple, well-known word, it’s not surprising that it has been scooped up.  It’s a janky feeder site linking to parent sites that also appear questionable.  Most interesting of note was the first of three links on the page: Amish Dating.  I highly recommend you not visit the site; I know I never will again.  Quite frankly, if I had founded Rumspringa.com as a dating website, people undoubtedly would have shared in this opinion.  Let’s face it, nowhere on the list of top 1,000 things Amish youth would do with their initial foray outside the walls of the Amish community is sign up for a dating site to meet other Amish.  Technically, I can’t say I’ll never visit Rumspringa.com, since I’ve already admitted to the crime.  But I can truthfully say I’ve never gone to FarmersOnly.com!
