With all that vision nonsense out of the way, Ned thanks Viv for the care and support she demonstrated yesterday. As the two sit in a 13th century replica of Santa’s sleigh—staring at the beautiful Christmas tree—Ned is overcome with embarrassment. How could he have even begun to believe Santa had sent Viv here as some sort of spy? Nestled so close to the beautiful young elf as to feel joined from shoulder to toes, Ned clearly sees he was mistaken in that assumption. Ned’s embarrassment ratchets up a notch as his yawn-and-reach move leaves the two in an awkward position.
