Q&complAints #648 : Weight Loss Revolution

What would be a great name for a new weight loss invention?

Post your answer in the LEAVE A COMMENT section below. I’m not the boss of you, though. Don’t write anything for all I care! It’s no loss to me if you don’t comment right now. You can write something later; I’ll wait.

. . .here are my thoughts.

What would be a great name for a new weight loss invention?

We’re all familiar with the saying, “Don’t miss the forest for the trees.”  It’s a reminder to not get so focused on details that you fail to see the bigger picture.  And we’ve all heeded the warning explicit in “Don’t cut your nose off to spite your face” when being warned against the risk of hurting yourself while keen on inflicting retribution on another.  These two concepts often walk hand-in-hand in the weight loss realm.  We can get bogged down on the minutia of strict calorie counting and ingesting the optimal proportion of macronutrients.  Yet we miss the bigger context of overall health while focusing on decreasing the number on the scale.  And nothing’s worse than losing those desired pounds over the course of a few months, only to put them back on—along with more than a few of their friends—once the dieting phase is over.  But there is a simple, often-overlooked weight loss method that guarantees instantaneous and permanent weight loss, with no calorie counting!  While generally called amputation, I prefer a much classier, more marketable moniker:

It Costs an Arm … or a Leg.
