How can you best get someone to notice you?
Post your answer in the LEAVE A COMMENT section below. I’m not the boss of you, though. Don’t write anything for all I care! I promise, I read them all; it won’t go unnoticed!
. . .here are my thoughts.
How can you best get someone to notice you?
I’d say writing a trilogy of books that sell over 100 million copies and are later made into 4 movies combining to gross $3 billion would easily get you noticed. But writing even a single book is hard. Trust me! I just finished reading the prequel to The Hunger Games (THG) trilogy—The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes (BSS). I kinda, sorta want to compare those 4 books with To Kill a Mockingbird (TKM) and Go Set a Watchman (GSW), but only in that they’re polar opposites.
- BSS = prequel; GSW = sequel.
- BSS = written after THG; GSW = written prior to TKM.
- Coriolanus Snow = good guy turns evil; Atticus Finch = racist who changed his tune.
The only similarity comes in a couple book titles. Perhaps Suzanne Collins dislikes TKM as much as I do and wanted to take the piss out of ol’ Harper Lee by titling the 3rd book in her dystopian trilogy, Mockingjay. What I do know for sure is that writing novels most certainly isn’t the quickest way of getting someone to notice you. But having mounds of cash like Suzanne Collins couldn’t hurt.
