. . .here are my thoughts.
If you found a $100 bill on the street and had to spend it immediately, what would you buy?
Anyone who’s ever walked the Las Vegas Strip has found a $100 bill on the ground—folded in half twice. As you bend down, your mind wanders with how to spend your spoils. The definition of immediately in this question becomes the pressing issue. Do you have an hour to spend it? Ten minutes? Only enough time to hop into the nearest casino and put it all on Red 27. Truth be told, you’re on the sidewalk of a busy street, so you should be watching out for cars . . . and pickpockets. To your dismay, the unfolded C-note reveals itself as an advertisement for any number of local businesses—shady or otherwise. Wonder how many actual $100 bills have laid there for hours, passed over by countless thousands of tourists, each repeating the famous mantra to themselves: “Fool me once . . .” The authentic bill swept up and disposed of by street cleaners come the early morning hours. Could have pushed your luck with $100 worth of lottery tickets to unveil if it really was your lucky day.
