What one thing do you wish was smaller?

. . .here are my thoughts.

What one thing do you wish was smaller?

The only famous Heffron’s I’m aware of are John and Eric. John Heffron won the 2nd season of Last Comic Standing some years ago. John pronounces his name as HEFF-ron. I’ve been asked how to properly pronounce my surname. I’ve heard variations: HEFF-ron, HEFF-rin, heff-RIN. I once asked my father which is correct, figuring he should know. With a shrug of his shoulders, though, he admitted he didn’t. Further, I don’t think he cared one bit. I 100% agree with him in that respect. As the saying goes, “Call me anything, so long as you don’t call me late to dinner.” Eric Heffron is the other Heffron of note. I’ve seen his name in the credits of numerous films as First Assistant Director. No Second Assistant Director role for a Heffron, amirite?! Anyway, neither my brother nor I have kids, so there goes our little segment of the gene pool. Too bad, too, because there really isn’t much in the way of genetic diseases or predisposition to illnesses in our family history. For the future health of our species, I sure wish there were a smaller number and prevalence of genetic diseases.
