What is the #1 reason you would join the military?
Post your answer in the LEAVE A COMMENT section below. I’m not the boss of you, though. Don’t write anything for all I care! But you’d be #1 in my book if you did.
. . .here are my thoughts.
What is the #1 reason you would join the military?
I’m really not a fan of bullets flying toward me. Who am I kidding? A single bullet pales in comparison to IEDs and large-scale weaponry available today. So, yeah, those sound like drawbacks. I’m pretty sure you can get really early retirement, though. And I would hope some damn good benefits, to boot. Or maybe I could get those federal student loans forgiven. And I really want to see what type of auto insurance discounts USAA offers. Hmm . . . that’s already more than one reason. Okay, it’s definitely the early retirement! But at 41-years-old, it may be too late to join now. If not, though, with my education (that sounds elitist) I think I’d get officer status as I toil away in a VA pharmacy. Of course, there’s that pesky issue of basic training. Maybe there’d be a way for me to bypass that. In truth, I have no idea if anything I’ve written here holds any water. As this is a hypothetical question, I’ve done literally zilch in the way of research—which exactly equals the total time I’ve spent previously in my life contemplating military service.
