What two words describe your lifestyle?
Post your answer in the LEAVE A COMMENT section below. I’m not the boss of you, though. Don’t write anything for all I care! Bonus points if you use two 4-letter words.
. . .here are my thoughts.
What two words describe your lifestyle?
Roll 2 dice (2 die; 2 dices?) and you’ll get a random number from 2-12. Of course, it’s not truly random since there’s a 16.67% chance of rolling a 7, a 13.89% possibility of a 6, an 8.33% prospect for a 10, etc. If your desire to watch The Power of the Dog is only 2.78%, you may never see early 20th century Montana. You’ll always choose something more favorable. Living Random opens the possibility of rolling a 2, and finally witnessing that anthrax-related comeuppance. Dice allow the expression of your full range of desires. This is the concept of the novel, Random, by Penn Jillette. Assign each option a corresponding number from 2-12 based on how much desire you have for each action. Throw those cubes and do what the dice dictate. You’re living Random! Your Starbucks order, the next step in your career, what nonconventional sex act to propose to a potential partner … all were rolled for in Random. No matter what the dice mandate, you’ll do something of your choosing—perhaps, though, not your normal, monotonous first choice. Or we can all simply continue to live our structured, pedestrian lives.
