Q&complAints #260: Protest March

What protest march might you be spotted at?

Post your answer in the LEAVE A COMMENT section below. I’m not the boss of you, though. Don’t write anything for all I care! I’ll be forced to assume you’re not commenting out of protest.

. . .here are my thoughts.

I read that Ohio and a few other states may soon be proposing legislation similar to the Texas anti-abortion law.  While I have never been to a protest march of any sort, this might change that 42-year streak.  You’ve probably heard about this law which incentivizes civilians to play roles of snitch and bounty hunter.  A law that prioritizes a cluster of rapidly proliferating cells above the health, well-being, and choice of the woman facilitating said proliferation.  “Rapidly proliferating cells” makes it sound like cancer, but that’s not what we’re talking about here—although some might argue otherwise.  If I were to prognosticate, I’d say there’d be more than a few marches for the bill, and protests against it in downtown Columbus.  Although Ohio has voted Republican in the previous two Presidential elections, its capital city is heavily blue.  The matter of abortion traditionally runs along party lines.  Perhaps I’m totally wrong about the rumor of a proposed bill—I read it on the Internet, after all.  Even if it were true, I’m not much for civil disobedience.  There’d inevitably be far too many living, breathing humans there for my anti-social liking.
