If you had to spend the rest of your life in one place, where would it be?
Post your answer in the LEAVE A COMMENT section below. I’m not the boss of you, though. Don’t write anything for all I care! Be honest, there’s no place you’d rather leave a comment.
. . .here are my thoughts.
If you had to spend the rest of your life in one place, where would it be?
Lucky is the dog that travels with its master. Most, however, are resigned to their lives spent in an area consisting of house, yard and neighborhood—sans the occasional venture to the vet, groomer, or to visit “Grandma, Grandpa, and Cuzzy.” Dogs, in this way, are much like humans of centuries past. Before the airplane whisked us away to the farthest corners of the Earth. Before trains took them to the next state. Or the Model A to a neighboring county. Upon a horse to the next town. Some humans would be content living a life like Fido or our old-timey friends, sequestered to a safe, little portion of the globe—never to appreciate the vastness of the world. If my two puppies had to choose one place to live for the rest of their short lives, would they choose their current abode, or prefer the previous residence each lived in before we “rescued” them? I hope their choose would be here. I’d choose to be right here with my wife and dogs. Perhaps, though, that’s primarily because we don’t currently have passports.
