Q&complAints #432 : Next Door

If you could have anything located right next door, what would it be?

Post your answer in the LEAVE A COMMENT section below. I’m not the boss of you, though. Don’t write anything for all I care! Maybe ask your neighbor to instead.

. . .here are my thoughts.

If you could have anything located right next door, what would it be?

Having not consumed much of the Batman franchise, I don’t feel qualified to say much about The Batman.  I do have two questions:

  1. With the rampant crime in Gotham City, why would any law-abiding citizen continue to live there?

Crime seems to be the main issue in the upcoming mayoral race.  I’d argue Batman isn’t performing too well as self-appointed deliverer of vengeance.  Little benefit having Batman living nearby.  However, it’d be a Good Time to have a police station next door to decrease crime in and around the neighborhood.

  1. Does the sun ever shine in Gotham?

I suppose the entire film being nocturnally set makes sense … the “Bat” thing and all.  Perhaps whomever is elected mayor should invest in a study to correlate a perpetual lack of vitamin D with increased criminal behavior.  The rare scene in The Batman that doesn’t take place at night occurs beneath a cloudy sky.  Or perhaps it’s smog that causes perpetual Twilight in the coastal city.  The lack of sunshine could be somewhat remedied if Robert Pattinson operated The Lighthouse.  A real lighthouse; not that Bat-Signal bullshit.
