What did you do when you were younger that you would never do now?
Post your answer in the LEAVE A COMMENT section below. I’m not the boss of you, though. Don’t write anything for all I care! Might as well do it now; you’re not getting any younger.
. . .here are my thoughts.
What did you do when you were younger that you would never do now?
When I was younger, I was known as a bit of a garbage disposal. When we went out to eat, there would never be a need for a to-go bag because anyone’s leftovers would go into the acidic bag at the end of my esophagus. There were some foods I simply wouldn’t eat, though. Thinking back now, I can’t fathom the reasons for my rebellion against some of those foods. Two such delights made by my mother—which my father and brother both loved—were tapioca pudding and cream puffs. Every time Mom made these, she’d say something to the effect of,
“Sure you don’t want to try this. I really think you’ll like it.”
To which I’d reply something like,
“Mom, you know I’ve never liked that!”
And she’d respond with,
“How do you know? You’ve never even tried it.”
To which I’d adamantly insist I had on numerous occasions. Turns out she may have been right … both are delicious!! It was no wonder my brother and father never once tried to convince me to partake. They wanted all that sweet deliciousness for themselves.
