What would you like to inspect under a microscope?

. . .here are my thoughts.

What would you like to inspect under a microscope?

I took a few microbiology classes in undergrad.  No matter how often we used those damn microscopes, I couldn’t stop seeing my eyelashes.  It took far too long and far too much effort to eventually see what I was supposed to.  Thus, I’m choosing to interpret “under a microscope” in the proverbial, rather than literal, sense.  Plus, I sure as hell don’t want to pony up the cash for a microscope I wouldn’t be able to properly use anyway.  Saving money is an important step toward growing wealthy.  I have a net worth figure I need to obtain before I can retire.  And I’d really like to retire early!  Thus, all spending is inspected under a microscope.  Question I’ve been pondering: when calculating a couple’s net worth, do they need $2 million to be considered millionaires, or just $1 million?  Maybe it depends on whether they file taxes jointly or separately.  I vote for $2 million.  I’d further posit, a couple with five children under 18 years of age need $7 million of net worth to claim millionaire status.  Maybe spend some of that money on a vasectomy and tubal ligation.
