What do you hope to see one day when you look in the mirror?

. . .here are my thoughts.
What do you hope to see one day when you look in the mirror?
This Botox commercial making the rounds has me on the verge of anger. If you were like me and missed the first couple seconds that labeled it as a Botox ad, those next 20 seconds were very confusing. The progression makes no sense! I assume Stephen’s husband died, but they never say how. In an extreme bout of stereotyping, my lizard brain immediately conjured up that he died of HIV/AIDS. Thus, 10 seconds in, I’m thinking this is an advertisement for an HIV med. Once I saw it was for Botox, I altered the likely cause of death to cancer strictly based on Stephen’s shaved head. My new assumption was he gave himself the ol’ straight razor in solidarity to his late husband as he underwent chemo. Ultimately, the whole death aspect became moot as we quickly transitioned to Stephen’s eagerness to fall in love again. But who could love Stephen if he had wrinkles all over that bald head of his? I hope I live long enough to look in the mirror and see nothing but wrinkles. Wouldn’t mind botulizing my sweaty axilla, though.
