Who leads the happiest life in the world?
You must never fail to compliment your significant other’s new hairstyle. The man who notices and compliments his wife’s haircut may lead the happiest life in the world. This remains true even when her hair looks exactly the same as it did before she left for the salon … 6 hours ago. If you’re anything like me, you can always tell when someone’s appearance has changed in an appreciable way. You may not be able to recall exactly what they looked like before, but you damn sure know that something changed. And you damn well should notice, especially if you helped pay for it. I cut my own hair to save money. And I use a #2 guard all over for simplicity’s sake. Anyone with a missus simply must know the long-held maxim: Happy Wife, Happy Life. That sounds a little sexist and a bit limiting to me, so here are a few alternatives I thought up that seem more woke and inclusive:
- Joyous Spouse, Joyous House
- Happy Friendling, Happy Ending
- Content Roomie, They Won’t Sue Me
- A Well Tipped Barber, No Ill Will Harbor
I’m somewhat partial to that Spouse/House one.
