Q&complAints #497 : Fashion Emergency

Who’s in need of a “fashion emergency”?

Post your answer in the LEAVE A COMMENT section below. I’m not the boss of you, though. Don’t write anything for all I care! You not wanting to fashion a response does not constitute an emergency on my part.

. . .here are my thoughts.

Who’s in need of a “fashion emergency”?

Do you have fingers?  Are nails at the ends of those fingers?  Are they all the same color?  If you answered “Yes” to all 3 questions, you might be in the midst of a “fashion emergency.”  At least this is what I’m led to believe by my wife.  Phoebe’s gotten big into manicures.  From her, I’ve learned the only thing worse than not having painted nails, is having all 10 nails sporting the same color.  Is this good advice?  I have no idea.  Anybody who’s met me knows “Fashion” and “Brad” have only been uttered in the same sentence if a negating word accompanies them.  Does this multicolored nail fashion rule exist across the gender spectrum?  Again, no idea.  Follow along, would ‘ya!  There are certainly men who paint their nails; most of them seem to be involved with some form of art as a hobby or career.  Penn Jillette, for example, has a single nail painted at all times.  I, however, have no desire to have a rainbow at my literal fingertips.  Go ahead—you can say it: “You don’t have a lick of fashion sense, Brad.”  Negating word … told you.
