What is the one thing you can draw very well?
Post your answer in the LEAVE A COMMENT section below. I’m not the boss of you, though. Don’t write anything for all I care! Especially since you’d need to write 1,000 words to equate to a single drawing.
. . .here are my thoughts.
What is the one thing you can draw very well?
A bath. Who am I kidding? I don’t have the patience for that, nor the desire to run enough water to fill a bathtub just to stew in my own filth for 5 minutes until the water chills below 90 degrees. Even with a ruler and protractor, I’d probably screw up drawing a 90 degree angle. My brother got any artistic ability that may have been encoded in our family’s genes. Me, though—none. High school, freshman year, I had to take an art class. Unfortunately, it wasn’t one of those Art Appreciation classes where I could rely on my didactics to get an “A.” Instead, it was an actual pencil-touching-overly-fancy-paper class. While learning how to properly shade to give the illusion of 3-dimensionality, my teacher must have felt her abilities to impart her skills upon every 15-year-old in her midst was unquestionable. Unfamiliar with my utter lack of even rudimentary artistic skill, she insinuated I was just screwing with her. That “B” I “earned” ended my valedictorian aspirations before they even began. Ultimately, I garnered the ability to draw quite well on past experiences for topics to complain about.
