Ned & Viv were all spiffed up and ready to tag along with the Heffrons for a weekend trip and early Christmas celebration. There would have been plenty of room in the car if this was all they packed. But the 11 other duffels were far too many to fit. After removing all non-essentials—all their changes of clothes, and every gift they’d purchased—they still had 10 bags … all candy!
Ultimately, Ned & Viv were convinced to stay behind and study up on homophones. They responded immediately, in unison, that all Santa’s elves are allocated the exact same brand and model of smartphone.
