Q&complAints #675: Ruinous Misunderstanding

What misunderstanding could ruin a marriage?

Post your answer in the LEAVE A COMMENT section below. I’m not the boss of you, though. Don’t write anything for all I care! Don’t worry; your significant other doesn’t read this garbage.

. . .here are my thoughts.

What misunderstanding could ruin a marriage?

A husband and wife enter a house party carrying a 6-pack of beer and a bottle of wine. The hostess points to a small side table, demanding he put his keys in the fishbowl. He glances at his wife, fully expecting her to decline the invite. To his surprise, she nods her head, pointing agreeingly toward the bowl halfway filled with keys. Even more shocking is he had no say in the matter. He often jokes his wife’s the boss. A lot of truth is said in jest, though the husband can’t help but feel he should have a say in such decisions. With drinks in hand, they make their way around the party. He can’t help but focus intently on every hug his wife gives and receives. Each embrace is far tighter and slightly longer than seems appropriate. Many a gentleman’s hand ventures nearer the top of her derrière than he would normally deem acceptable. They eventually find themselves again near the front door. The wife looks at the fishbowl, saying,

“Geez, nobody brought a designated driver! Or were we invited to a swingers party?”

The husband replies,

“Thought never crossed my mind.”
