What is your strangest bodily habit?

. . .here are my thoughts.

What is your strangest bodily habit?

When walking outside on a sunny day after being in the relative indoor dimness for an extended period, are you overtaken by a series of violent sneezes?  I am.  This affliction is colloquially called the “photic sneeze reflex.”  If you suffer like me, you probably already knew that.  You’d also know I’m being a bit dramatic with the use of affliction and suffer.  While the 2-3 rapid sneezes are sometimes violent to the point which they hurt, it’s more of an inconvenience than anything else.  Sufferer of this affliction or not, you may not be familiar with the clever acronym ascribed to the condition: ACHOO (Autosomal Dominant Compelling Helioopthalmic Outburst Syndrome).  ACHOO is both a perfect name, and one of the most forced acronyms of all time.  It’s obviously a backronym constructed entirely for humor.  I mean, come on, the “D” for Dominant is completely left out.  I could overlook that minor injustice if the rest of the mouthful didn’t seem more forced than the germ-ridden air that rockets out of my mouth and nose because of it.  But still, I must admit, ACHOO is strange and cool.  Both the acronym and the condition.
