. . .here are my thoughts.

What is one thing you would never sell?

Around 70% of states (and D.C.) have legalized sports betting—America’s new pastime.  Fantasy sports are the gateway into betting.  Even my sports-agnostic wife recently took part in her first NFL fantasy draft with work colleagues.  It’s of little surprise that Billy Walter, the greatest sports bettor ever, recently released a book.  Gambler: Secrets from a Life at Risk is an autobiography with two chapters describing his nuts and bolts of NFL betting strategy.  Even at age 77, I would never sell the secrets that netted me over $100 million and a 3+ decade winning streak!  At least not for the cost of a $35 hardcover.  I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if Billy got a cushy deal like the one that brought Lionel Messi to Miami.  Apple and Adidas are reportedly giving Messi a percentage of the increased revenue from MLS Season Pass subscriptions and jersey sales, respectively.  Billy mentions a few sportsbooks by name in Gambler.  Imagine the additional profits those sportsbooks can rake in from average Joes who believe they’ve uncovered the secrets to becoming millionaires.  Billy … Messi … even their names have a bit of similarity.
