What great idea did you come up with, but never followed through on?
Post your answer in the LEAVE A COMMENT section below. I’m not the boss of you, though. Don’t write anything for all I care! I’d recommend getting that idea down in writing, lest you soon forget it.
. . .here are my thoughts.
What great idea did you come up with, but never followed through on?
There are seldom great ideas imagined for the first time anymore. With over 8 billion people currently on the planet, and countless billions having come and gone, novel ideas are a rarity. I was far from the first teenager to conjure the doubling up method to beat the casino. Turns out, it’s called the Martingale system. If you lose $5 on your first hand of blackjack, wager $10 on the next one. Bust after hitting 16 against her Jack of clubs? Push out $20 the subsequent deal. The dealer beats your 20 with a 6-card 21—double that bet to $40. Eventually you’ll win a hand, earning back all the money you’ve invested, along with that initial $5 as profit. Simple! Only problem is, eventually can be a long time coming. Even if the casino didn’t limit your maximum bet, you may run out of money before your losing streak ends. Your 11th bet would be $5,120. It’s rare to lose 11 consecutive hands, but it does happen! Are you willing to risk $10,235 to win a measly $5? I never followed through on this great idea.
You play it Brad. I’ll watch. $5200.00 is too steep for me.
