. . .here are my thoughts.
What is your biggest pet peeve when driving?
Depending on which study you believe, somewhere between 73-93% of people believe they are better than the average driver? Math, huh? Every one of these expert drivers undoubtedly have their own biggest pet peeve. Each perfectionist indisputably peeves many of their fellow above-average drivers with their own unbeknownst operator errors. Especially if these sons of bitches aren’t using their turn signal! How tough is it to flick your left pinky finger up or down to signal your intention? Turning right up ahead: pinky up. Lane change in the middle of an intersection—why even bother at that point, you’ve already broken one law. Even if it’s the middle of the night and no headlights can be seen in any direction, my right-hand turns are always preempted by an elevation of my littlest left digit. When making a left-hand turn onto a road with three eastbound lanes, needing to quickly enter an on-ramp to the south, four signals are required: initial left-hander into the nearest lane; righty to change to the center lane; a second right before drifting into the far-right lane; a final right as the on-ramp materializes. That’s one tired pinky.
