What do you think Martians do for fun?
Post your answer in the LEAVE A COMMENT section below. I’m not the boss of you, though. Don’t write anything for all I care! Prove to me there’s some terrestrial intelligence out there.
. . .here are my thoughts.
What do you think Martians do for fun?
There’s a phenomenon known as the Third Quarter Effect. Consider this timeline. When you start a project, you’re all revved up, ready to get started on a promising new venture. That’s the 1st quarter. Once you get 25% of the way through, you really hit your groove. Everything is going swimmingly in that 2nd quarter; all the pieces are really starting to come together. But soon you’re at the halfway point. The 3rd quarter brings about some sticking points—multiple difficult situations you must overcome. It’s far too late to start over or, God forbid, abandon the project completely. But you also realize there’s still a lot of work left to finish. If you fight through it, things get better. Those problems get solved and the 4th quarter sees you wrapping up your work. You know the end is in sight—which is all the motivation needed to push on through to the project’s conclusion. The 1st, 2nd, and 4th quarters are a cakewalk compared to the torment of that dreaded 3rd quarter. I like to imagine that an intelligent Martians species enjoys nothing more than slogging through those miserable 3rd quarters.
It’s easier to shop for the kids now aways because they send you a.text showing the exact thing they want, color and all. All I have to do then is open the text site, press buy now, pay for it and either wait for it to come or have it delivered directly to their house. Then no returns necessary. Merry Christmas to everyone and Happy New Year as well
First of all, Merry Christmas and a Happy Healthy New Year to you and yours.
Then to your question, they are probably watching us crazy humans running around like crazy, cooking, decorating, baking and the worst part for me the shopping. We then say we love all of our gifts then on Monday morning we jump in our cars and return everything. I wrote a lot of checks and haven’t been to the stores.
Can’t go wrong with cold hard cash! Merry Christmas to you as well. Don’t forget to check out
