What is your favorite thing about the beach?

What is your favorite thing about the beach?
Alright … what is there at the beach? Water, sand, sun, that coconut sunscreen smell, and bare skin. Sure, there’s more to beaches than that, but I live in Ohio, so what do I know? Generally speaking, I don’t like the beach! I love water that you can drink, and the occasional dip in a swimming pool, but I’m not a fan of bodies of water where I can’t see my feet. I prefer that sand be confined to concrete, rather than still turning up back at my house 6 months later. And sunscreen is so often made to smell like one of the worst foods on Earth: coconut. I often wonder if I hate the food because of sunscreen, or the beach because of the food. Little of column A, little of column B. I’d have to say my favorite thing about the beach is that women—and sure, men—wear bathing suits that cover less than the skivvies they generally wear under their outerwear. I’ve never been to a nude or clothing optional beach, but I’d go. It’d have to be an overcast day, though. I burn far too easily.
The beach is relaxing. You just enjoy the day and get lost in the minute
And get that damn sand EVERYWHERE!
