What would you do if you wanted to be a real “turn-off” on a first date?
Post your answer in the LEAVE A COMMENT section below. I’m not the boss of you, though. Don’t write anything for all I care! But why not let today be the date of your first comment.
. . .here are my thoughts.
What would you do if you wanted to be a real “turn-off” on a first date?
“I’ve got to be honest—and I hope you don’t take this the wrong way—of all the crazy broads I’ve dated the last couple years, you’re without a doubt, right down there at the bottom of the totem pole.”
And out the door she goes! I buy her an expensive dinner, and she doesn’t even bother finishing her nightcap—deciding it’d be better for me to wear it. Mistakenly, it would seem she believed—as is the common error—that the higher up the totem pole, the better. Truth is, the best and most important carvings do not find themselves at the pinnacle. No, no! Totem poles can be tens of feet tall, often tapering as they rise. Thus, the carvings near the summit are small and hard to see from ground level. Not exactly where you’d want to display your finest craftsmanship. There’s also the extreme likelihood they’re not carved with the same exquisite care and detail of the engravings at eye level. Another compliment wasted due to a culturally significant misunderstanding. The way she threw that drink, though—quite a turn-on!
