. . .here are my thoughts.

What is the worst thing you can do to ‘mess up your life’?

Quick!  Name a child actor from at least a decade ago who’s not totally f’ed up right now.  Nope, not him—he was in rehab, like, three times, remember.  No, she “checked herself into a clinic” in lieu of jail time.  Tough, isn’t it?  Perhaps being a famous child actor is the easiest route to messing up your life.  Remember Abigail Breslin from Signs and Little Miss Sunshine?  I recently watched her in the Matt Damon flick, Stillwater.  Although the acting was fine across the board, the storyline didn’t quite do it for me.  We were, though, introduced to the 10-year-old French actress, Lilou Siauvaud.  She’s the highlight of a film that’s centered around relationships.  Admittedly, it was clever writing to have Breslin (an Oscar nominee for Best Supporting Actress at age 10) and Siauvaud become instantly friendly upon their initial meeting.  Breslin seemingly passes the baton to the young up-and-comer.  Here’s hoping Siauvaud doesn’t let her impending fame mess up a very promising acting career.  Who’s that you say?  Daniel Radcliffe?  Sorry, wrong again.  He struggled with alcohol while he was filming the Harry Potter movies.

  1. I would say being obsessed with anything or anyone group or person. Be it drugs, gambling, food, a person, a belief or a political party.
