What will you be doing 10 years from today?
Post your answer in the LEAVE A COMMENT section below. I’m not the boss of you, though. Don’t write anything for all I care! A decade from now, neither of us will remember anyway.
. . .here are my thoughts.
What will you be doing 10 years from today?
Realistic, or fantasy world? Let’s go with a fantasy that has a non-zero chance of slipping into reality. Picture this. It’s 2032. You’re a decade older—yet, with zero additional wrinkles!—reading Q&complAints #2312. Your comment—yet again—reads,
“How the hell do you come up with this nonsense?!
And why did I just waste my time reading it again??”
But it’s not just you reading and commenting, loyal reader. Today alone, more than 100,000 of your closest friends will read the exact same words. Most of them comment with something a bit more amiable than you did. And 5% of them click on an advertiser’s link, or order their everyday products through one of my Amazon Affiliate Links. (BTW, in 2032 Amazon has greater revenue than the GDPs of every nation on Earth . . . combined!) Unfortunately, that Amazon prediction is far more likely than my blog’s fantasy scenario. More realistically, I’ll be bitterly counting down the final 5 (or 10) years until my early retirement from the pharmacy world. Whether I have a million readers, or just you, thanks so much for spending your valuable time with me!
Hopefully we’ll be spending the winters somewhere warm and still bugging and visiting our kids whenever possible
Our Aunt Rose was 102. If I can take care of myself that sounds good. I don’t want to rely on anyone.
Well hopefully I’ll be getting dressed to go see one of my great grandchildren do something in school or to see my granddaughter be appointed a judge on the Supreme Court. But that isn’t likely. I’ll be 75 at the end of March. My Mom past at 77, Grandma Martucci at 72 and Grandma Carfolo at 74. I’ll probably be watching these things happening from heaven or the other place.
101. I’m calling 101(at least!) as your magic number.
