What is a good reason to fire someone?

Post your answer in the LEAVE A COMMENT section below. I’m not the boss of you, though. Don’t write anything for all I care! It’s not like your paycheck depends on it.

. . .here are my thoughts.

What is a good reason to fire someone?

I believe every time the officiating crew in an American football game has a call overturned on replay, they should be forced to apologize. Less an apology, really—more a groveling for their paycheck. After a bit of self-deprecation, all fans in attendance vote via cell phone app on the authenticity and remorsefulness of the apology. I posit using the Tinder method of swiping right or left so all those drunken supporters who began tailgating at 5:00 AM can rely on muscle memory. If the consensus swipes left on the apology, the entire crew gets their pay docked 5%. Better hope the overturned calls don’t hinder the home side too often. At some point, the game may even be aborted. If no sooner, after 20 pay docks those officials are outie 5000. They’re not finishing the game for free! Hell, a 21st mistake and they’d end up owing money. To who? I have no idea. But I do know walking out on a job before its completion is a great reason to fire someone. Frankly, do we even need meat-bag referees anymore? Let’s take full advantage of those plethora of all-seeing eyes.

  1. In the business world anyone getting caught using company computer for porn. Immediate walk to the door. In government anyone who isn’t for the people and is only for the party. Oops there goes all of Washington.

  2. I agree if they are deducted money they may try to do a better job. That goes for sports, politics and almost any job.

  3. Any type of dishonesty or deception pertaining to your job that benefits you in any way. There goes just about every politician that ever existed. Sounds good to me. Get rid of them all and put some good people in there. If there are any willing to take the job and stay honest.
