. . .here are my thoughts.

What should not be said to a large crowd of people?

Lots of people have graduated from The Ohio State University. It’s no wonder they’re one of the most staunchly supported universities. Nearly anywhere you go in this country—and many others—you’ll find numerous Buckeye alums. Thus, yelling “BUCKEYES SUCK!!” in any large crowd of people may not be the greatest idea. You’ll only succeed in making friends with supporters of That Team Up North. Who wants that!? Since I earned my Doctor of Pharmacy degree from OSU, I have reason to support the Buckeyes. Of course, you need not have graduated from a school to cheer for them—any reason for forming an allegiance is a good one. My 2nd favorite college football team is the one currently playing Notre Dame. I have no glaring reason to dislike Rudy’s team. I’m probably just leaning into my contrarian tendencies. The school seems to be highly supported by people who never attended Notre Dame, or even set foot anywhere near South Bend. I know I just said “any reason for forming an allegiance is a good one.” But that same reasoning goes double when deciding to despise a college program.

  1. Definitely never say OSU sucks. Walking trough Venice Italy with a OSU shirt on and I hear O-H. I would also never yell GUN.
