What important thing have you done that went unrecognized?

. . .here are my thoughts.
What important thing have you done that went unrecognized?
Watching Tenet, I was quite worried about whether I’d be able to adequately follow the plot, since I heard it plays around with the concept of time. My wife will attest to my history of understanding these types of films being questionable. Tenet is a fitting title for a movie with the palindromic effect of running the same time period forward and backward, simultaneously. The very last line of the film is:
“It’s the bomb that didn’t go off. The danger no one knew was real.
That’s the bomb with the real power to change the world.”
It speaks to the “What if?” component of prevention. For example, you’ll never be certain if the Pfizer vaccines you received downgraded your future COVID diagnosis from a death sentence, to just fatigue and an annoying cough. Current me hasn’t yet done an important thing that’s gone unrecognized. Perhaps future me is patiently waiting for current me to catch up in the timeline to future me’s past self to recognize the moment of our collective important accomplishment. If you’re confused by that sentence, you might be best served not investing 151 minutes watching Tenet.
Good writing. I too, current self, past self, and future self, have not done anything anyone else would consider important.
Then again, what does everyone else know? They wouldn’t know “important” of it bit then on their arse.
