Post your answer in the LEAVE A COMMENT section below. I’m not the boss of you, though. Don’t write anything for all I care! But if you do write something–even just once a year–I promise to give it my complete attention.
. . .here are my thoughts.

I’d love to watch the Tour de France in-person. This despite not having biked for about 6 years after having indulged in the sport for a handful of years in my early 30s. But the Tour is soooo damn long. It’s not just the 2,121.6 miles they pedal over 21 stages this year. I’m saying it takes a long time to watch on TV. The coverage approaches 100 hours—and that’s if you fast-forward through all the commercials! In past years I’d watch as much as I could the day it aired, often skipping through to the end in an effort to stay current. This year I’m viewing it at a leisurely pace over the course of many months—foregoing none of the excitement. What has been foregone is the race doctor’s practicing of Universal Precautions. She pulls up in a moving car alongside a bloody cyclist after a crash—cleaning away blood, bandaging up limbs. Never, though, does she don gloves. It’s like Universal Precautions don’t exist in France. Is France not in this Universe? Guess I won’t be needing that passport after all.
Not sure. Have to give that some thought
I would love to see Mardi Gras. Never been. It just looks so exciting.
Brad, if you have a thing for clean bathrooms, France is not for you. When I was there the lines to the female bathroom was so long that the bathroom attendant pointed me to the males bathroom. That was an experience. I came out to my husband jumping up and down yelling at me for going to the male bathroom. I explained, she pointed and I had to go. Im sure the females wasn’t any cleaner then the males.
Thanks for the heads up!
Well been to New Orleans and at my age can’t handle all the crowds and booze so Mardi Gras is out. Would love to see Wimbledon Finals, even though I don’t watch on TV but still on my bucket list.
