What word do you use most often to make yourself appear more intelligent?
Post your answer in the LEAVE A COMMENT section below. I’m not the boss of you, though. Don’t write anything for all I care! But I know you have something intelligent to say.
. . .here are my thoughts.
What word do you use most often to make yourself appear more intelligent?
I got my 2nd Moderna COVID vaccine on 03/17/2021, meaning I’m now fully immunized against COVID-19! When I give people their Moderna vaccines, I inform them of side effects they may experience after either the first or second dose. I use information the manufacture supplied, and first-hand accounts other patients have informed me of. And, of course, I share my own experience to give that extra bit of personalization to my counseling. My first dose was fine, but after the second, I had 22 hours of minor flu like symptoms. I “slept” 14 of those hours. I use the quotation marks because I spent probably half of those hours awake, repeatedly doing something I had no word for—that full body stretch you do each morning before actually putting feet to floor. I tried to explain that action to people, but lacked good terminology to explain it. Lucky for me, the Dictionary.com Word of the Day for April 16, 2021 was “pandiculation.”
pandiculation
[noun] the act of stretching oneself, especially on waking
Guess who’s gonna sound pretentious—verging on supercilious—prior to administering way too many vaccinations.
Good word. I don’t have a word I use. I usually don’t care about making people think I am intelligent. I just try not to swear.
