After resting up, Ned & Viv pay tribute to the puppies that passed over the last 13 months. The two well-rested elves were overheard reminiscing about the infamous pickle ransom debacle of 2021.
They both claim to remember it like it was just the other day. Their actual “just the other day” was spent commuting from the North Pole to Ohio—a trip they’re already hazy on the details of. It’s, therefore, no surprise they remember nearly every detail of December 18, 2021 incorrectly. Viv recalls them negotiating 10,000 candy canes from the ransom. [They wanted 1,000,000. They got zero.] Ned recollects it was Baron who attacked. [It was Frankie.] Each argues they were the one torn asunder by the gnarly jaws of the angry pooch. [Torn asunder?! Gnarly jaws?! Angry pooch?!] The pictures tell a different story.
Details may be lost to time, but memories will live forever.
