Q&complAints #641 : Sleeping Child

What was your favorite thing to sleep with as a kid?

Post your answer in the LEAVE A COMMENT section below. I’m not the boss of you, though. Don’t write anything for all I care! Take a nap while you think about it. I kid, I kid–write it now.

. . .here are my thoughts.

What was your favorite thing to sleep with as a kid?

I’ve always loved blankets.  A couple years ago my wife found these blankets that I absolutely love.  I’d love to tell you exactly who makes them, but they each say they’re from a different company.  What they have in common is they’re all 100% polyester and manufactured in China.  Both of those facts pose a problem of their own that we don’t have to get into right now.  I’m convinced this love of blankets was ingrained in me as a tike.  I had two blankets that I slept with every night of my youth.  The softer of the two was a blue crocheted one that, I believe, was handmade for me as a gift; the smaller was a thin, yellow one that harbored a large, well-worn hole in it for as long as I could remember.  I slept with those well into high school, often taking advantage of their softness for use as pillows.  I employ this blanket-as-a-pillow trick even today—much to the exacerbation of my wife.  As a pubescent youth, I would have eagerly traded both of those blankets for just one night with such a bedmate!
