What do you always find yourself complaining about?
Post your answer in the LEAVE A COMMENT section below. I’m not the boss of you, though. Don’t write anything for all I care! You’ve read enough of my complaints; now I want to hear yours.
. . .here are my thoughts.
What do you always find yourself complaining about?
Major sports will often have a sideline reporter ask a couple quick questions to the coach as they head into the locker room at halftime. There’s never a hard-hitting question. And always an even more superficial answer.
Q: “Tough first half for your team, coach. What changes will you make at halftime to get back in the game?”
A: “Lot of effort out there—we’re just not executing. Simple as that. We’re gonna come out in the 2nd half and get back to basics. We do that—we’ll have a good chance.”
The reporter doesn’t exactly have time to ask about the benefits and drawbacks of various potential defensive formation changes. And even if he had time to explain, the coach wouldn’t want to give the opposition a sneak peek into his 2nd half blitzing strategy. I always find myself complaining about these useless—probably league-mandated—wastes of time. Eventually a head coach will give the perfect answer, though, so I continue to watch and wait for the interview that will forever live in infamy.
Q: “What will it take to win the game, coach?”
A: “More points than our opponent, dumbass!”
