Rx #0000037 : Daylight Saving Time

Meds & Counsel without Patience for Patients
Ever heard of Dick’s Last Resort? Never been to the restaurant myself, but I love the concept. It’s like the court jester in medieval times being able to tell the King the harsh truth since everything he said was in—you guessed it—jest. Why has no pharmacy taken up this business practice? If patients expect harsh but fair truth from the pharmacy team, they’ll accept it readily.
Welcome to URxProbablyRxight. The pharmacy of the future where we provide “Meds & Counsel without Patience for Patients.”

Daylight Saving Time

[Tech]: “Good morning, Marianne.”
[Rph]: “Good morning to you as well. Enjoy your extra hour of sleep this weekend?”
[Tech]: “Not really. Nobody told my dogs about the time change. They just wanted breakfast at 7:00 instead of 8:00.”
[Rph]: “Hmm. Never thought about that.”
[Tech]: “You didn’t work this weekend, did you?”
[Rph]: “Nope, it was Roger’s weekend.”
[Tech]: “So you made full use of Daylight Savings Time?”
[Rph]:Saving Time—no ‘s’. But, yup, extra hour of sleep.”
[Tech]: “Hold up! You’re saying it’s Daylight Saving Time?”
[Rph]: “Sure is, Lesley.”
[Tech]: “Are you sure?”
[Rph]: “Yeah, Google it if you don’t believe me.”
[Tech]: “That sounds so dumb, though.”
[Rph]: “Not as dumb as me having to give vaccines to 5-year-olds. But that seems to be a reality, too.”

. . . [As an employee at URxProbablyRxight, how did
you make use of your extra hour?]
