Viv was fascinated and confused upon hearing that humans need a booster dose of their COVID vaccine. Elves have never needed more than a single shot to receive 100%, permanent efficacy against a bacteria or virus. (However, they do require an annual diabetes vaccine.) Viv used some elfin magic to acquire a box of Moderna, intending to read all about the vaccine. Instead, she found the entire package insert blank! Believing this had to be a one-off printing error, Viv obtained another box . . . and another. Eleven boxes later, confusion reigns not only about the vaccine, but also about the extreme waste of paper. Ned, however, concerned himself only with building a comfy fort. As they relax, Ned enlightens Viv with a quote from Einstein: “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.”
