The lights on the Heffrons’ tree can be changed between white and colored lights, each with a handful of patterns. If Viv’s current choice of light sequence were given a title, it’d undoubtedly be called “Seizure.”
Ned, however, is unphased. He lounges and stares up at a silver ball ornament, looking like a disco ball under the strobing lights. This vision sends his mind wandering to his younger days, when nightlife held a much greater priority in his life.
Viv’s mind, likewise, wanders to the land of disco. She reminisces about the mid-70s and those precious few summers she lived it up as a DJ in Ibiza nightclubs.
