If there was a breaking news story involving you, what would have happened?

. . .here are my thoughts.
If there was a breaking news story involving you, what would have happened?
The film Amsterdam begins with the following words plastered across the screen:
A lot of this really happened.
A lot of what occurs in every film really happened in one form or another sometime throughout history. Even Dumbo flying through the air happened in a manner of speaking. Strap an elephant into a harness under a helicopter and one can argue it’s flying. Amsterdam made references to a plethora of historic happenings.
- Rise of Hitler and the Nazi Party
- Naval intelligence officer and MI6 agent working secret ops
- Racism among the military in World War I
- Forced sterilization clinics
- Secret organizations intent on overthrowing governments
- Prediction of World War II
- Gaslighting women into believing they have nonexistent medical conditions
- Self-experimentation with patent medicines
Each of these things really happened. What most certainly never happened—much to the chagrin of 12 Grammy runners-up—was Taylor Swift being pushed in front of, and killed by, a truck. While that’s not as obvious a prognostication as a Second World War, it may yet come to pass. I can imagine the headline:
Unknown Blogger Lone Suspect as Seer of Swiftie’s Death
