Who is your favorite superhero?

Who is your favorite superhero?
I’ve never been a huge fan of comic books or superhero films, so I don’t exactly have a favorite superhero. Who needs a fictional dude—or dudette!—strutting around in tights, anyway. We have real-life humans to look up to. Your hero can be a favorite athlete, a teacher who went above-and-beyond, or a man who could build just about anything. I love watching American Ninja Warrior (ANW). These contestants are amazing! Hell, a couple of them even dress like superheros while running the course. Some of the athletes own their own Ninja Warrior gyms, and many build training courses in their yards. I can’t imagine what my spacious, childhood backyard would have looked like had ANW been around back then. Not only would my father have built all the obstacles from the previous season, he would’ve undoubtedly built superior obstacles of his own design. Alas, ANW arrived more than two decades too late. And my father left this mortal realm at least two decades too soon—yesterday marking the 4th anniversary of his passing. He should still be my hero for not building an obstacle course, though. God knows I would’ve broken my neck.
