Q&complAints #561 : Worst Joke

What is the worst joke you’ve ever heard?

Post your answer in the LEAVE A COMMENT section below. I’m not the boss of you, though. Don’t write anything for all I care! It’s probably true what they say, anyhow; you wouldn’t know humor if it bit you on the ass.

. . .here are my thoughts.

What is the worst joke you’ve ever heard?

Women Talking, based on a novel of the same name, might just be the most perfectly titled film in cinematic history.  Women literally sit around talking—and, of course, bickering—with one another.  The title is further amplified via the trans man who refuses to speak to the women of the community after his transition.  One could be excused for thinking a bit of the title’s emphasis is lost, however, due to the lone male who speaks a good deal throughout the film.  Since none of the Mennonite women could read or write, he was asked to take the minutes of their meeting.  Dude’s hand must still be tired!  His true role comes much later when he presumably uses those notes to spread the women’s story of deciding to leave their colony after years of gas-facilitated rapes.  He tells their story; but it’s really those women speaking through his pen.  We don’t know exactly how he shared their agonizing narrative with the outside world, but I like to think at some point he interspersed this joke to relieve the tension:

Q: How do you keep an Amish woman happy?

A: Two Mennonite.
