Q&complAints #599 : Missing Sound

What sound do you miss the most?

Post your answer in the LEAVE A COMMENT section below. I’m not the boss of you, though. Don’t write anything for all I care! I can just about hear the sound of your fingers tapping on those keys.

. . .here are my thoughts.

What sound do you miss the most?

Ever heard elephants stampeding on the opposite side of the ceiling above your head?  Their floor sure to come crashing down upon you.  Then you realize it’s merely two 17-pound dachshunds embroiled in one of their brief, all too infrequent, play sessions.  That was one of my favorite sounds.  My boys hadn’t played like that for a couple years—up there in age, hampered by health issues.  Baron was mostly deaf, somewhat blind, and had Cushing’s that stripped him of the muscle mass he had as a younger wiener.  You probably noticed those past tense verbs—Baron passed away on November 11th.  His elder brother, Frankie, seems to have siphoned off Baron’s lost pounds and kept them as a memento. Seeing a photo of Frankie and Baron side by side resembles a zombie star in the midst of stealing stellar material from its red giant partner … only in reverse. Terrible analogy; but it’s to be expected. I’m grieving here!  Frankie’s added heft is due to long-term prednisone use to treat spinal inflammatory issues common to the breed. Now, when Frankie’s told it’s time to eat, I hear only a single elephant running.
