What have you been putting off doing?

What have you been putting off doing?
Shopping at Lowe’s is like eating at Olive Garden. Once a year you get a hankering to go, but soon remember why you haven’t been back for 12 months. Lowe’s is HUGE, and everything is too hard to find. There may be plenty of employees working, but it’s impossible to get the attention of one. A red vest appears at the opposite end of the isle, but by the time you trek that football field length, they’ve vanished. Peering to your left you see neither a worker nor the far end of the store. It just fades away, as beyond a haze on the horizon. To the right, lumber is stacked impossibly high into the heavens. Two lumberjack-looking fellas push some of that wood toward you on a cart the size of a handicap parking spot, speaking a language you don’t comprehend. This is enough evidence to convince even the least pious person that a forebearer of Lowe’s played a role in the Tower of Babel. It’s easy to see why I put off the purchase of a new kitchen faucet for so long—far preferring a constant drip to a Lowe’s trip.
